Murray's Electrical Grade 2 listed “old town hall” refurbishment

This amazing property has been evolving throughout its history, from a school and town hall to an art gallery and more recently a pub - with the earliest record of the building being 1510.

Murray’s Electrical Ltd was presented with the opportunity to assist with the refurbishment of the property and agreed with the client the best results would be a full rewire and modernisation of the electrical install.

The job consisted of 2 phases, phase 1 was turning the ground floor into a commercial premises for letting.

The property required power and led lighting as well as fire & security alarm systems. This was all carried out to modern regulations, while respecting the restrictions that came with such a property.

This project was hugely satisfying to be a part of, knowing that we have played our part in restoring such a historical building to the area, while also pleasing the client with the finished product.
